The Event Planning Powerhouse Turning Love into Magic

February is the month of love, and we’re diving headfirst into it with someone who truly knows the business of romance—the brilliant Nadi Madisha, founder of Mokone Events. Let’s get into her story and get a glimpse into the world of creating magic for lovebirds and see how the day of romance is not just for couples.

About Nadi Madisha

Born and raised in Johannesburg, 25-year-old (soon-to-be 26!) Nadi Madisha is the proud founder of Mokone Events. Her journey to becoming an event planner wasn’t exactly conventional—but, as Nadi says, it’s been nothing short of amazing. She holds two qualifications, one of which directly inspired her current career, and the other she pursued to enhance her skills and run her business like a pro.

Nadi’s love for event planning wasn’t something she initially sought out. In fact, it started as a happy accident. She recalls wanting to study psychology but being just 1% short on her transcript. Faced with having to do a bridging course, she chose event management as the ‘easiest option.’ Little did she know this detour would spark her passion.

“I realised that I actually am enjoying this,” she shares. “This is nice! And I thought of ways to capitalise on it. I can’t just have this knowledge for nothing.” Her lightbulb moment came during a lecture where her professor, who was an event planner herself, shared stories from her work. Inspired, Nadi saw herself stepping into that very role.

“I love what I do and I strongly believe that passion is of paramount value,” Nadi shares. “I read somewhere that regardless of where you draw energy from, if you’re not passionate – if you don’t positively love what you do – you’ll eventually burn out. I can attest to that quote with my entire being because I think about how tired I always am during the planning and on the actual day of the event. But there’s something about that fatigue that feels like a badge of honour. Knowing that the client is satisfied, that the event turned out as planned.”

She adds, “A lot of things fuel my inner fire. If we choose the less serious and more casual route, I could also say being able to buy myself the things that make me happy – be it food or clothes, things that keep my inner child alive and happy. Being able to buy yourself things that make you happy is an underrated blessing. Even the littlest things.”

Fast forward to 2018, just before graduation, and Nadi was already making moves. With help from her older sister, she registered Mokone Events. The name, which comes from her clan name, was an easy and meaningful choice. From there, she leveraged her growing social media following to showcase her work, and the inquiries started rolling in. Despite the challenges of COVID-19, Nadi managed to host her first event before the pandemic hit, solidifying her career path.

Love and event planning

As the founder of Mokone Events, Nadi knows all too well how love shapes her business. She laughs about how Valentine’s Day has never really been about being ‘wined and dined’ for her. “I’m always thinking, what do I need to do? I need to be planning some sort of romantic setup,” she says.

Valentine’s season is a busy time for Nadi. She creates special packages, posts past work to inspire new clients, and ensures her brand stands out in a competitive market. From romantic setups for two to Galentine’s events for friends, she’s got it all covered. “It’s my job and responsibility to remind people: Hey, this is what we’re having this year. These are the specials we’re running,” she explains.

The beauty of solo dates

For Nadi, love isn’t just about couples. She’s a big believer in solo dates and living life without waiting on others. “If you wait on people, you’re never really gonna do anything,” she says. Whether it’s trying out restaurants, hiking alone, or diving into art (even if she claims she’s not the best artist), Nadi embraces doing things for herself.

“These days are quite impulsive for me,” she shares. “If I plan something with my friends and it takes 10 years to materialise, I’m gonna leave and do it myself. That’s why I believe in solo dates so much.” Her approach to life—both professionally and personally—is rooted in self-sufficiency, creativity, and making the most of every moment.

Building the future of Mokone Events

With six years of experience under her belt, Nadi’s journey is far from over. She’s driven by her love for what she does and the joy of creating memorable experiences for her clients. Whether it’s a Valentine’s Day setup, a birthday celebration, or a corporate event, her passion shines through in every project.

Nadi’s story is a reminder that sometimes the best paths in life are the unexpected ones. From choosing event management as a last-minute option to becoming a sought-after planner, she’s proof that passion, hard work, and a little serendipity can go a long way. So here’s to Nadi Madisha and the magic she creates—one event at a time.

Tuned in into InnoStation where the latest and hottest topics are always on air. I’m your host, Kami, and each episode will be serving up fun chats, fire insights, with some special guest appearances along the way and some surprises as well. Now, February is dubbed the month of love. And as we celebrate all of the love and romance in the air, we’ve got a special events planner to take us through the ins and outs of the business of love. We’ve got Nadi Madisha joining us and she’s the founder of Mokone Events. Nadi, welcome to InnoStation.

Nadi Madisha 00:00:39 – 00:00:44

Hey, Kami, thanks for having me. Thank you so much for having me.

Kami 00:00:44 – 00:00:57

Of course. Thank you so much for joining us. Now, I think to kick off the episode, let’s help the audience to get to know a little bit about you. Tell us who Nadi is and what fuels your inner fire.

Nadi Madisha 00:00:57 – 00:01:49

Well, Nadi Madisha is a Johannesburg born and bred baby woman. I am 25, turning 26 this year. I am also the founder, like you said, of Mokone Events. I am an event planner and coordinator. I also hold two qualifications, one of which has actually driven me into what I do today and the other one something I took really because I wanted to have a degree in one. Secondly, I just wanted to enhance my skills and enable myself to run this business. So, yeah, let’s start there for now before we really dive deep into the event space and everything.

Nadi Madisha 00:01:49 – 00:02:24

But yeah, I love what I do and I think having to study event management by mistake and later on we’ll get to, you know, really talk about how that went by. But yeah, having to study event management has been a jol, for lack of a better word. It’s been such an amazing journey. It’s been five years now since I studied and since I started the business. But essentially that’s what I’ve been doing for the past five years. Six years this year.

Kami 00:02:24 – 00:02:41

Amazing, amazing, amazing. And I love the commonalities between us because shout out to Pedi Women, period. But let’s dive into your story with events a little bit. Will you tell us how you got into the industry?

Nadi Madisha 00:02:41 – 00:02:49

Okay, like I said, it was by mistake, but initially when I went to school, I wanted to study psychology, right?

Kami 00:02:49 – 00:02:49

Yeah.

Nadi Madisha 00:02:49 – 00:03:18

I got there, spoke with a student advisor and told them what I wanted to do. So they looked at my transcript and they’re like, okay, there’s a problem here. You need like 1% in order to study psychology. I was like, just 1%, really? Can you not, you know, he’s like, no, you have to do a bridging course. I was like, okay, fine. What are the options? He had, like, a list of options. And I was like, I have to pick the easiest because this is not what I’m planning on doing.

Kami 00:03:18 – 00:03:19

Really?

Nadi Madisha 00:03:19 – 00:03:20

It’s just a bridging course, right?

Kami 00:03:20 – 00:03:21

Yeah.

Nadi Madisha 00:03:21 – 00:03:31

And I looked at the list. They were like, law and whatnot. I was like, nope, I know that’s not me. So I’ll just go for event management. Because, I mean, again, it seemed easy.

Kami 00:03:31 – 00:03:32

Yeah.

Nadi Madisha 00:03:32 – 00:03:56

I realised that I actually am enjoying this. I was like, this is nice. And I thought of ways to capitalise on it. And I was just like, I can’t just have this knowledge for nothing. It can’t just be a certificate. I need to do something about it. And then, luckily for me, one of our lectures was actually an event planner.

Nadi Madisha 00:03:56 – 00:04:05

So during the lectures should make reference to, like, events she’s been part of. And I always just saw myself as her, you know.

Kami 00:04:05 – 00:04:05

Yeah.

Nadi Madisha 00:04:05 – 00:04:25

Something like. I was like, okay, no, I need to do this. So when we ended the year, just before grad, this was now 2018. Yes. Before grad, I was like, let me just register. I had my older sister help me through the process of registering the company, a name.

Nadi Madisha 00:04:25 – 00:04:56

So the name is my clan name. Not sure if you’re familiar with that, but my clan name sounds like. That’s easy. I can’t think of other names. I’ll just go for my clan name. And then fast forward, grad came, company was registered, I started posting. And then I just happened to have, like, a large following on social media, so people were able to grasp and obviously, hey, do you do balloons? Do you. You know, inquiry started coming in and then Covid hit.

Nadi Madisha 00:04:56 – 00:05:10

This was before COVID hit, but I was fortunate enough to have planned one event before the actual pandemic. And, yeah, that was the beginning of my career, I would say.

Kami 00:05:10 – 00:05:17

I love that. I feel like we always make so many plans or, like, even if you don’t know what it is that you want to do. Going into uni.

Nadi Madisha 00:05:17 – 00:05:18

Yeah.

Kami 00:05:18 – 00:05:32

You go in there, like, oh, my gosh, what am I going to do? What am I going to do? But I think it’s a beautiful thing for your path to just find you, because sometimes we’re, like, clamouring to find what we’re supposed to be doing. So I think it’s lovely that your thing came to you.

Nadi Madisha 00:05:32 – 00:05:45

I’m so glad things panned out the way they did. Like, it was totally not in my bingo card, but I’m not complaining. Zero Complaints.

Kami 00:05:45 – 00:06:14

Now, we are in the month of love, and our biggest holiday this month is, of course, Valentine’s Day. So I imagine this is, like, a very busy time for you in the event space because everybody’s trying to do something either in the month or around Valentine’s Day. Right. Can you run us a little bit through how love impacts a planner’s business? And also, like, the ins and outs of navigating the craziness of this period for you.

Nadi Madisha 00:06:14 – 00:06:36

Okay, firstly, right, it’s funny how for me, right, in the past three, four years, Valentine’s was never or barely about me waiting to be wined and dined. And I always just. I was thinking, what do I need to do? Like, I need to be planning some sort of romantic setup, right?

Kami 00:06:36 – 00:06:37

Yeah.

Nadi Madisha 00:06:37 – 00:06:41

Balloons, I need. Rose petals. I need it, you know.

Kami 00:06:41 – 00:06:41

Yeah.

Nadi Madisha 00:06:41 – 00:07:13

Never. Yeah. It’s never been about me waiting to be wined and done. And that’s the honest truth. So luckily, for this business, I’m able to now create packages. I’m able to post, like, old work that I might have done maybe in the previous year just to sort of serve as a reminder or as an awareness for the clients that didn’t see that last year, in the previous year. But, yeah, it is a busy time.

Nadi Madisha 00:07:13 – 00:07:36

But people forget, and there’s a lot of planners. So it’s my job and my responsibility to remind people. Hey, guys, this is what we’re having this year. These are the specials we’re having. This is a package. We’re having. Romantic setup for two. But it’s not limited to just couples. You know how girls sometimes have Galentine’s.

Kami 00:07:36 – 00:07:38

Yes, yes, yes.

Nadi Madisha 00:07:38 –  00:07:49

So things like that as well. So it’s not just limited to the lovers. I mean, they are single people. So we will open. And we do create packages for Galentine’s as well.

Kami 00:07:49 – 00:07:57

And I love that you mentioned that Valentine’s Day isn’t only about couples, because that takes me into my next question. Right.

Nadi Madisha 00:07:57 – 00:07:58

Okay.

Kami 00:07:58 – 00:08:09

There are also businesses that like to get in the mix and also celebrate Valentine’s Day. Have you done anything for corporates for Valentine’s?

Nadi Madisha 00:08:09 – 00:08:27

Yeah, I think two years ago it was like little gift packs or. Yeah, it was just gift packs. It wasn’t really. Yeah. For corporations. Well, this was two years ago, though. Like, that was the first and last time, though. So we don’t.

Nadi Madisha 00:08:27 – 00:08:36

Yeah, it’s not something I’ve thought about this year, and I probably should have because it’s a thing. Like I said, not everyone has a lover.

Kami 00:08:36 – 00:08:37

Right. Yeah.

Nadi Madisha 00:08:37 – 00:08:47

Yeah. But it was just the gift packages, you know, like a red little paper box with chocolates and a little note inside. Yeah.

Kami 00:08:47 – 00:08:51

That is really nice. That would make me come to the office that day, right?

Nadi Madisha 00:08:51 – 00:08:59

Yeah, like, I’d work overtime, trust me.

Kami 00:08:59 – 00:09:14

Oh, my goodness. One thing that you’ve mentioned to us is that you love solo dates. Can you tell us what got you into taking yourself out on dates and some of the ones that you’ve taken yourself on that you like?

Nadi Madisha 00:09:14 – 00:09:21

Okay. Yeah, yoh I’m a big believer of solo dates because, yes, I love my friends, I love my family.

Kami 00:09:21 – 00:09:22

Yeah.

Nadi Madisha 00:09:22 – 00:10:07

But if you wait on people, you’re never really gonna do anything. Yeah. Apart from sometimes, you know, these days are quite impulsive. I just feel like I’m not gonna wait. If I plan something with my friends and it takes 10 years to actually materialise, then I’m gonna leave here. That’s why I believe in solo dates so much. So. Yeah. I do a lot of things by myself, such as trying out restaurants, hiking alone, and drawing. I can’t draw. I’m not the perfect artist. But art is art, you know, art is art.

Kami 00:10:07 – 00:10:08

Yeah.

Nadi Madisha 00:10:08 – 00:10:16

So. Yeah. But one of my favourite spots is olives and plates at the Embassy Towers. I’m not sure if you’re familiar with that.

Kami 00:10:16 – 00:10:22

Yes, Olive and Plates! It’s great. They are good. Their food is actually really good.

Nadi Madisha 00:10:22 – 00:10:27

Right. And in this economy, let’s talk about how affordable the prices are.

Kami 00:10:27 – 00:10:28

No, let’s!

Nadi Madisha 00:10:28 – 00:10:29

Right.

Kami 00:10:29 – 00:10:39

Because these days, you look at the menu, you look. You look the menu up. I don’t know if you do this, but whenever I’m going on a date, I like to check to make sure I know what I’m walking into.

Nadi Madisha 00:10:39 – 00:10:39

Yeah.

Kami 00:10:39 – 00:10:45

And then you look at the prices and you’re like. I mean, I’m still gonna go because I’m gonna treat myself, but, wow!

Nadi Madisha 00:10:45 – 00:10:56

Exactly. No, I do the same thing. Trust me. Olives and Plates menu, scroll, scroll. Okay. The prices aren’t bad. I’m definitely going. But yeah, that’s like, one of my favourite spots.

Nadi Madisha 00:10:56 – 00:11:04

10 out of 10 food, like you said, prices, reasonable. Aesthetics as well. We’re not gonna ignore aesthetics. Right.

Kami 00:11:04 – 00:11:06

That’s important.

Nadi Madisha 00:11:06 – 00:11:32

Extremely important. So I don’t know if I mentioned earlier on, but I love being around water. So any water body, even if it’s a swimming pool, I love it. I love it. So same thing with the hiking trails that I usually go to. They have rivers flowing through them, really nice and safe waterfalls. So, like, after a long hike, just go in for a dip.

Kami 00:11:32 – 00:11:32

Yeah.

Nadi Madisha 00:11:32 – 00:11:34

And call it a day.

Kami 00:11:34 – 00:11:42

Okay. Now one of the cards. What is. What is your love water about? Like, what is that rooted in?

Nadi Madisha 00:11:42 – 00:11:46

Okay. Firstly, my star sign of cancer.

Kami 00:11:46 – 00:11:49

Okay. Cancer.

Nadi Madisha 00:11:49 – 00:11:51

I’m a water baby at heart.

Kami 00:11:51 – 00:11:52

Yeah.

Nadi Madisha 00:11:52 – 00:11:58

It’s in me. So I really just. That’s really just it.

Kami 00:11:58 – 00:11:59

Yeah.

Nadi Madisha 00:11:59 – 00:12:02

I love water. I love water.

Kami 00:12:02 – 00:12:06

I love that I’m a person. I’m a Leo. And I love the water too, which is crazy.

Nadi Madisha 00:12:06 – 00:12:09

Which is crazy. Unexpected, which is wild.

Kami 00:12:09 – 00:12:25

But I think. I think the water element for me is very calming. I think a lot of the time I have like, a lot happening all at once. My energy is always like through the roof. But I think being by the water is very calming. It’s very. It brings you back down to like, just being regulated.

Nadi Madisha 00:12:25 – 00:12:26

Exactly.

Kami 00:12:26 – 00:12:28

Yeah, exactly.

Nadi Madisha 00:12:28 – 00:12:30

The best element out there.

Kami 00:12:30 – 00:12:31

No, definitely.

Nadi Madisha 00:12:31 – 00:12:33

Yeah.

Kami 00:12:33 – 00:12:44

You are an outdoor girly and you just mentioned that you like to go hiking, right? Are there any places that you would like to go hiking that you haven’t gone to yet?

Nadi Madisha 00:12:44 – 00:12:51

Ah, this is very far fetched, literally, because. So I have a friend that travels a lot, right?

Kami 00:12:51 – 00:12:52

Yes.

Nadi Madisha 00:12:52 – 00:13:04

And can often send me pictures and he knows I love water. There’s this one picture he sent, and I kid you not, that picture looked fake. In the most positive way. It looked like a painting.

Kami 00:13:04 – 00:13:05

Right.

Nadi Madisha 00:13:05 – 00:13:19

Oh, my God. Where is this? And I think Lake Louise, in Canada. It’s far-fetched, but honestly, I’m not limiting myself.

Kami 00:13:19 – 00:13:20

Yeah.

Nadi Madisha 00:13:20 – 00:13:22

I shall hike that trail.

Kami 00:13:22 – 00:13:26

No, let’s call it in for you. Lake Louise, right?

Nadi Madisha 00:13:26 – 00:13:42

Yep. I need that. No, that was. That was stunning. I saw it. I just saw the water. I have no idea how the entire trail looks, but off of that alone I gained an interest.

Kami 00:13:42 – 00:13:45

Well, we hope you make it to Lake Louise, Nadi.

Nadi Madisha 00:13:45 – 00:13:49

I hope so too. I hope so too. I shall keep you guys updated.

Kami 00:13:49 – 00:13:50

Please do.

Nadi Madisha 00:13:50 – 00:13:57

Now, I have another podcast interview about it.

Kami 00:13:57 – 00:14:21

Follow us, but before I let you go, we have a special game that we love to play over here at InnoStation called Hot Takes. I’m gonna ask you a series of just rapid fire questions and then you’re gonna answer hot or not. And then if there’s something interesting that pops up, then we can definitely get into it. But. Yeah.

Nadi Madisha 00:14:21 – 00:14:24

All right, let me have my lemon water.

Kami 00:14:24 – 00:14:25

Go ahead.

Nadi Madisha 00:14:25 – 00:14:34

Okay. Okay.

Kami 00:14:34 – 00:14:39

How do you feel about interactive workshops?

Nadi Madisha 00:14:39 – 00:14:41

I say hot.

Kami 00:14:41 – 00:14:44

Yeah. If you like it, you say hot. Oh, okay.

Nadi Madisha 00:14:44 – 00:14:45

Hot. Okay.

Kami 00:14:45 – 00:14:48

Have you planned any?

Nadi Madisha 00:14:48 – 00:14:53

No, actually, not yet. Not yet. Not yet.

Kami 00:14:53 – 00:14:56

How do you feel about birthday dinners?

Nadi Madisha 00:14:56 – 00:14:58

Hot.

Kami 00:14:58 – 00:15:00

I’ve seen some of the pictures on your socials.

Nadi Madisha 00:15:00 – 00:15:05

I’m like, those are one of my faves, actually.

Kami 00:15:05 – 00:15:09

You know, you do really beautiful work. I’m like, do I need a birthday dinner?

Nadi Madisha 00:15:09 – 00:15:14

It’s not my birthday, but I’d like a birthday dinner setup, please.

Kami 00:15:14 – 00:15:17

Now, how do you feel about engraved jewelry?

Nadi Madisha 00:15:17 – 00:15:21

Hot. Hot.

Kami 00:15:21 – 00:15:29

Really cute pieces. I’m like, yep. How do you feel about mint chocolate ice cream?

Nadi Madisha 00:15:29 – 00:15:30

Cold.

Kami 00:15:30 – 00:15:31

Not.

Nadi Madisha 00:15:31 – 00:15:32

No, not.

Kami 00:15:32  – 00:15:37

Why?

Nadi Madisha 00:15:37 – 00:15:43

Mint chocolate already for me is. Is a once in a year craving.

Kami 00:15:43 – 00:15:45

Ah, okay.

Nadi Madisha 00:15:45  – 00:15:50

So having that and ice cream, I’m good.

Kami 00:15:50 – 00:15:56

I have heard somebody say it gives cold toothpaste. And I was like.

Nadi Madisha 00:15:56 – 00:16:05

Actually, actually, if we’re being honest, if we’re being real.

Kami 00:16:05 – 00:16:08

How do you feel about meditation?

Nadi Madisha 00:16:08 – 00:16:10

Hot.

Kami 00:16:10 – 00:16:12

Is that, like, part of your practice?

Nadi Madisha 00:16:12 – 00:16:14

Yep. I did. I will try.

Kami 00:16:14  –  00:16:15

Yeah.

Nadi Madisha 00:16:15 – 00:16:29

Because I get really overwhelmed, you know, with the work that I do. And yeah, being preoccupied is not one of my favourite things because, yeah, you end up panicking, and that’s just not good.

Kami 00:16:29 – 00:16:29

Right.

Nadi Madisha 00:16:29 – 00:16:40

So I do try to meditate here and there, even during prayers. I’ll have a quiet moment where I just sit and stare at my candles.

Kami 00:16:40  – 00:16:40

Yeah.

Nadi Madisha 00:16:40 – 00:16:43

And just sit in silence.

Kami 00:16:43 – 00:16:56

And that really does help. And I find at the end of meditation, you realize just how, like, how much energy you were actually expending and just. Yeah, you realize just how much you were carrying.

Nadi Madisha 00:16:56 – 00:17:01

It really lets you let go of unnecessary thoughts and feelings.

Kami 00:17:01 – 00:17:02

Yeah.

Nadi Madisha 00:17:02 – 00:17:05

So I really believe in meditation.

Kami 00:17:05 – 00:17:10

Now, you mentioned Galentine’s day, and that’s on my list. How do you feel about that?

Nadi Madisha 00:17:10 – 00:17:29

I love it. Because, yes, I’m single, but I really value the relationships I have with my friends and my family. So now for Valentine’s Day, a lot of people are going to be working. A lot of people are going to be, you know, wined and dined.

Kami 00:17:29 – 00:17:30

Yeah.

Nadi Madisha 00:17:30 – 00:17:43

I have a date with my friend on Friday just after the setup that I have early on in the day. So I look forward to that. It’s like, why not? I feel like, why should we wait for a partner.

Kami 00:17:43 – 00:18:05

Valentine’s Day. Right. And I feel like Galentine’s Day should have, like, its own designation. Like maybe make the 11th or wait, the 13th, why the 11th? Make it the 13th or the 15th. I think it’s always a vibe, and not even just with a single girlies. I think it’s nice to spend that time with your friends as well.

Nadi Madisha 00:18:05 – 00:18:05

Yeah.

Kami 00:18:05 – 00:18:07

It’s just always a vibe.

Nadi Madisha 00:18:07 – 00:18:16

Yeah. No, I believe in that. I look forward to the dinner. I look forward to working. Yes. But, yeah, the dressing up part and going out for dinner, I look forward to it.

Kami 00:18:16 – 00:18:18

To that as well.

Nadi Madisha 00:18:18 – 00:18:19

Yeah.

Kami 00:18:19 – 00:18:23

Now, how do you feel about plastic plants?

Nadi Madisha 00:18:23 – 00:18:27

Plastic plants?

Kami 00:18:27 – 00:18:28

Not.

Nadi Madisha 00:18:28  – 00:18:31

Not.

Kami 00:18:31 – 00:18:35

How do you feel about giveaways?

Nadi Madisha 00:18:35  – 00:18:37

Like Instagram giveaways?

Kami 00:18:37  – 00:18:41

Yeah, like, giveaways that brands will do.

Nadi Madisha 00:18:41 – 00:19:08

If I don’t have to enter. And, like, you know how usually the big account on Instagram would say, we’re giving away an iPhone 16 in order to, like, be in the draw. Follow me, repost this post, share all of that is too much admin for me. Although, yes, I’d love to have the iPhone 16, but if I’m gonna have to do all of that.

Kami 00:19:08 – 00:19:08

Right?

Nadi Madisha 00:19:10 – 00:19:12

Yeah, but I love seeing other people win.

Kami 00:19:12 – 00:19:13

Yeah.

Nadi Madisha 00:19:13  – 00:19:18

If they’re happy, then I’m happy. But personally, I’m not gonna do all of that.

Kami 00:19:18 – 00:19:24

No, I feel you on that, like, why must we go through so many hurdles just to win? It’s already hard enough winning.

Nadi Madisha 00:19:24 – 00:19:28

Thank you. Thank you. And you’re not even guaranteed.

Kami 00:19:28 – 00:19:35

Exactly. And how do you feel about a luxury picnic?

Nadi Madisha 00:19:35 – 00:19:41

A luxury picnic. Hot. Hot.

Kami 00:19:41 – 00:19:50

Have you planned any? Because I saw there was a time where, like, everybody was doing, especially for, like, birthdays and stuff, they were doing outdoor picnics as part of their celebration.

Nadi Madisha 00:19:50 – 00:19:55

I did my friend’s birthday picnic last year, in October.

Kami 00:19:55 – 00:19:56

Oh, okay.

Nadi Madisha 00:19:56 – 00:20:03

It was a surprise picnic, so she had no idea. And I enjoyed planning all of that because I didn’t charge her. Right.

Kami 00:20:03 – 00:20:04

Yeah.

Nadi Madisha 00:20:04 – 00:20:13

It was a thing for me. Just. Okay, she’s gonna want this. I know. Her favourite colour is green flowers. These are her favourite colours. Favourite flowers. Sorry.

Nadi Madisha 00:20:13 – 00:20:24

So, yeah, I just had so much fun. And then also consulting her older sister with things that I genuinely had forgotten about. Yes. She’s my best friend, but I was like, yeah, what’s her favorite color again?

Kami 00:20:24 – 00:20:25

Yeah.

Nadi Madisha 00:20:25 – 00:20:39

No, it is green, remember? I’m like, oh, okay. Green. Yes. Green flowers. Green this. I had so much fun planning that. And so I love picnics. Honestly, anything that’s gonna have me within nature, let’s do it.

Nadi Madisha 00:20:39 – 00:20:41

Totally hot.

Kami 00:20:41 – 00:20:55

And that’s. Do you think that was also so fun to plan? Because it genuinely was, like, a labor of love. Because I think, like, when you love the person you’re planning something for, it’s like, it makes itself very effortless. Like, okay, yeah.

Nadi Madisha 00:20:55 – 00:21:05

Doesn’t feel like a job at all. So, yeah, I had so much fun doing that.

Kami 00:21:01 – 00:21:05

Awesome. Now those are all my questions, Nadi.

Nadi Madisha 00:21:05 – 00:21:07

Is it? We’re done already.

Kami 00:21:07 – 00:21:09

Yes, we’re done already.

Nadi Madisha 00:21:09 – 00:21:11

Wow. Okay. Okay, okay.

Kami 00:21:11 – 00:21:24
